THAKETA OFFSHORE SUPPLY BASE UPGRADING PROJECT

INTRODUCTION
Thaketa supply base upgrading project is to upgrade the existing facilities to achieve a high reliability of jetty operation. Further in the area of the upgrade jetty is necessary to ensure the compliance of the Thaketa supply base with international oil & gas standards and the readiness to be an operating
support base for upcoming COMPANY’s operations.

PROJECT LOCATION
The SITE located in Thaketa Township, Yangon Division, on the bank of Bago River near Thanlyin Bridge at the coordinates of NE are N16o 47.36’ and E 96 o 13.11’ respectively.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Work Package 1 – Upgrading of Water supply & Water treatment/storage system inside Thaketa supply base
• Work Package 2 – Upgrading of Electricity, Lighting, Lightening System at Jetty area
• Work Package 3 – Water supply system outside Thaketa supply base
• Work Package 4 – Upgrading of Electricity and Lighting System at Area 1 and Area 2
• Work Package 5 – 4 Units 3 Storeyed Officer Apartment

Water Tank Specification

• Length – 56 m, Breadth – 20 m, Depth – 4.2 m
• Raw Water Storage Capacity           –      591 M Ton
• Treated Water Storage Capacity     –  3,441 M Ton
• Inlet Raw Water From Tube Well  –        25 M Ton/Hr.
• Water Treatment Plant Capacity    –        25 M Ton/Hr.

Filter Building Specification

• Dimension – 20 m x 10 m x 4.2 m
• Water Treatment Rate – 25 M Ton/Hr.

Pump House Specification

• Dimension – 20 m x 7.2 m x 4.2 m
• Pumping Rate (Water Tank to Jetty Area) – 50 M Ton/Hr.
• Pipe Line Length (Water Tank to Jetty) – 6″Ø – 986 m and 2″Ø – 986 m

Upgrading of Electricity

• The electrical system includes new underground cable connection to 11 kVA line.
• Substation building with main distribution board, transformer, generator and distribution network to the required load.
• 200 kVA Transformer – AG, On load tap charger (13 Taps)
• 200 kVA Generator – Caterpillar (USA)
• High Mast – (3) Nos. (20m Height with 6 Nos. x 1,000 Watt)
• Lighting & Lightning Facilities

Water Supply System

• Water Well – 8″ Ø, 600 ft. Depth (2 Nos.)
• Water supply flow rate – 25 M Ton/Hr.
• Pipe line length (Water well to water tank) – 4″Ø (1,400 ft.)
